Becoming a member
If you have a desire to help your neighbor or feel the need to give something back to your community or just need something to do in your spare time, the Midland Voluteer Fire Department may be the place for you.

To join the fire department you must be:
  • 18 years of age
  • Live within the fire district which is from 13000 New George's Creek Rd. to 15600 Lower George's Creek Rd. and to Klondike Rd. north on Upper George's Creek Rd.
  • Must be in good standing with the community
  • Must pay an annual membership fee

In addition to the above requirments, you must attend either a firefighter or EMS course within the first 18 months of membership.  You must attend one out of every three meetings, and you must remain in good standing with the company.

For more information or to obtain a membership application, contact any member or stop by the station any Monday night after 6pm.  Application are also available at the fire department tavern.
 
If you have an interest in the fire department, stop by and talk with us.  The fire department family is always looking for new people to carry on the tradition that has made the Midland Volunteer Fire Department what it is today.
